While PTA managed to sell three ranges of the 3G spectrum on offer, which can only sell the 4G license after Ufone - was disqualified for technical reasons - the only other bidder for the spectrum .

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar while speaking at a news conference after the auction  said "The decision not to allow the attempt PTA Ufone 4G for a license after failing to comply with the requirement was a good decision ... is to ensure the survival of this process is transparent ,"

Said Dar asked if the PTA lose money deposited by Ufone after operator telecommunications earned less than it was for an attempt will be making a decision after receiving input from the Ministry of Law .

The finance minister said , speaking to reporters that the government got more than was initially estimated .

He said the government is still possible to earn at least 50 billion rupees through the participation of 4G license in addition to the remaining Rs111 million had already received from the sale . He added that he is also a license to keep more for a new operator .

Dar said the government , through the successful completion of the auction , it has proved that it has the capacity to fulfill the promises made ​​to the nation . He said he will introduce technologies, telecommunications, the new creation of hundreds of thousands of new jobs .

Minister alluded to give users the advantages of tax services telecommunications , but said the final decision will be taken in the next budget .
