Google is Planning to Spend US 1 Billion to Deliver the Internet via High-altitude Baloons

It seems like Google wants to speed up plans to connect around the world with the Internet by developing a fleet of satellites . It is already working on a plan to deliver the Web via high-altitude balloons , but a satellite system will be more reliable and durable. Facebook uses unmanned aircraft in a similar effort, and Google recently bought a company drone that had shown interest in acquiring .

Google eye in the sky seems richer than ever . The company reportedly plans to spend at least US $ 1 billion dollar a project to bring Internet access to remote locations via satellite.


It is still unclear whether the project will increase or replace the Project Loon - Google 's proposal to link remote areas to the Internet through high-altitude balloons . However , the report suggests that Google hopes the program will help to overcome technical and financial barriers that prevented similar projects in the past.
